ADVENTURES IN IBIZA
HUIS DE VOORST
Step into the timeless elegance of Huis de Voorst, a magnificent historic estate nestled in the beautiful countryside of Eefde in the Dutch province of Gelderland.
Originally built around 1695 for Arnold Joost van Keppel, a close confidant of King-Stadtholder William III, Huis de Voorst was designed by architects associated with Het Loo Palace. Its grandeur and spectacular gardens soon earned it the nickname “the Versailles of the Achterhoek.” The estate has endured centuries of history, including a devastating fire in 1943, followed by restoration that brought the property back to life.
Today, Huis de Voorst combines its remarkable heritage with elegant gardens, historic architecture, and an atmosphere that feels like stepping into another era. Surrounded by approximately 131 hectares of nature, the estate now serves as a spectacular setting for weddings, celebrations, private gatherings, and exclusive events.
